Privacy Policy

Streak Mode (“Streak,” “we,” “us”) is a habit tracker available at streakmode.com. We keep this policy short and honest: we collect only what we need to run the product, and we never sell your data.

Information we collect

We collect the minimum necessary to give you an account and track your habits:

  • 1Account information. When you sign up, we store your email address and name. If you register with a password, we store it only as a one-way hash (see our Security page). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google.
  • 2Habit data. The habits you create and the dates you mark them complete. This is the core content of the product and is tied to your account.
  • 3Billing information. If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number — we only keep a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status.

How we use your data

We use your information solely to operate Streak: to authenticate you, save and display your habits and streaks, process subscription payments, and send essential account emails (such as password or billing notices). We do not use your habit data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you logged in (a session token managed by NextAuth). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third-party services

We rely on a few trusted providers to run Streak. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service:

  • •Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
  • •PostgreSQL database — stores your account and habit data.
  • •Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions.
  • •Google — optional sign-in via OAuth.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and everything associated with it at any time. To do so, email us at support@streakmode.com and we will respond promptly.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information and habit history from our active systems. Backups are rotated on a regular schedule.

Children’s privacy

Streak is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
